When it comes to appointments and insurance questions, our Admin Team is here to assist you every step of the way. Our knowledgeable staff members are well-versed in navigating the complexities of the healthcare system and are ready to provide you with the guidance you need.
Meet Our Manager
Karen Thompson, Accounting & Payroll Manager
Karen attended the VCC Medical Office Assistant Program after moving from Montreal to beautiful Vancouver in 1997. She started her MOA career at Westside Physiotherapy as a receptionist and is now our Office Manager. She deals with all administrative and accounting enquiries at the Westside Clinic.
When not at the clinic, Karen enjoys spending time with her family and planning her next beach vacation.
Our Surrey Team
Camila Perez, Surrey Clinic Lead
Camila is a professional within the international relations field with a Master’s in Business Administration. She moved from Colombia to expand her horizons and seek new career opportunities. At healthOne, Camila is excited to provide exemplary customer service and have a positive impact on others through her work.
When not at work, Camila dons her black belt for Karate and loves discovering Vancouver’s nature.
Jonathan Antillon, Surrey Clinc Support
Jonathan graduated from CDI College with his diploma in Rehabilitation Therapy Assistant. Jonathan plans to pursue a career in physiotherapy.
Outside of work he enjoys sports and daily physical exercise.
Harleen Kaur, Surrey Reception & Clinic Support
Harleen was an accounting student and is currently supporting the clinic team at the reception desk. She enjoys her time working in the clinic and helping fellow colleagues and patients.
When not at work, you will find Harlenn trying new food, dressing up, taking pictures, and going out with friends.
Our Mission Team
Ry-Anne Biggs, Mission Clinic Lead
Ry-Anne started her career in the culinary world, eventually ending up in the health and wellness industry. This lead her into various admin roles until she found her niche in physio clinic administration. She is thrilled to be a part of the team at healthOne physio.
In her free time, Ry-Anne enjoys cooking and camping, and spending time with her family and her two cats, Dallas and Beatrice.
Jennifer Youritchuk, Mission Clinic Lead
Jennifer began her career in administration 10 years ago. She has a passion for helping others and delivering superior customer service, which is a perfect fit in her role as a Clinic Lead at our Mission healthOne location.
When she isn’t working Jennifer likes to spend her time camping with her family and exploring nature.
Erika Cruz, Mission Reception & Clinic Support
Erika is pursuing a bachelor of kinesiology degree at the University of the Fraser Valley, in hopes to pursue a career in physiotherapy.
In her free time, she enjoys going on runs, playing basketball and walking her 3 dogs.
Grace Berry, Mission Reception & Clinic Support
Grace is a licensed Emergency Medical Responder with a strong passion for helping others and making a meaningful impact in her community. She aspires to pursue a career in medicine and is actively building valuable hands on experience through diverse work and life opportunities, including her role at healthOne.
Outside of work, Grace enjoys reading, spending quality time with her family, caring for animals, and staying active at the gym.
Rajveer Sandhu, Mission Reception & Clinic Support
Rajveer is pursuing her Bachelor of Science degree at the University of British Columbia. Upon completion, Rajveer plans to pursue her Master’s degree in Physical Therapy. She hopes to gain valuable insight into patient-centred care and various rehabilitation methods during her time at healthOne.
In her free time, Rajveer enjoys drawing, yoga, and baking treats for
her loved ones.
Priya Basra, Mission Clinic Support
Priya is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology. She hopes to find a career she loves through this degree.
In her free time, Priya loves reading, trying new restaurants, catching up on sleep, and spending time with friends & family.
Jenna Meschke, Mission Reception & Clinic Support
Jenna is a student at the University of Fraser Valley, exploring various career paths in the medical field. With a background as a competitive dancer and rugby player, she developed an interest in kinesiology and is passionate about understanding the body's movement and health.
In her free time, Jenna enjoys playing the ukulele, going to the gym, and working at a haunted corn maze every Fall.
Victoria Robinson, Mission Reception
Victoria is a vibrant individual who finds joy in the simple pleasures of life. She loves spending quality time with her family, cherishing every moment together. She absolutely loves travelling and finding new destinations!
She also enjoys cooking, it's not just a hobby; it's a passion that allows her to express her creativity and nurture those around her with delicious meals. Work is not just a means to an end but an opportunity for growth and fulfillment. With a perpetual smile on her face, she approaches each day with enthusiasm, always ready for new adventures and experiences that life has to offer!
Omrao Dhadda. Mission Clinic Support
Omrao is currently studying Kinesiology at the University of the Fraser Valley. With a deep interest in human movement and athletic performance, he plans to pursue a Master's degree in Kinesiology after completing his undergraduate studies.
Omrao is passionate about wrestling—both as a competitor and a coach—actively training and helping others develop their skills in the sport.
Gurveer Sidhu, Mission Clinic Support
Gurveer Sidhu is currently enrolled at the University of the Fraser Valley as a dedicated student athlete. She is pursuing a Bachelor of Kinesiology degree while excelling on the basketball court. Gurveer has also found a way to give back to the community as she invests her time in coaching young female athletes.
In the little spare time when Gurveer is not at work, studying or coaching & playing basketball, she also enjoys spending time with her family.
Chelsea Aitken, Mission Clinic Support
Chelsea is a very outgoing and adventurous individual who loves helping others. She plans to pursue a career in the health and wellness industry. For now, she will gain valuable experience in her role at healthOne.
Outside of work, Chelsea loves going for hikes, exercising at the gym and spending time with family & friends.
Irwin Gill, Mission Clinic Support
Irwin holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology and is currently completing prerequisites at the University of the Fraser Valley. She is passionate about healthcare and hopes to gain meaningful experience in patient care during her time at healthOne, while exploring career paths and working toward a future Master’s degree.
In her free time, Irwin enjoys discovering new coffee spots, going to the gym, and spending time with friends and family.
Maninder Jawanda , Mission Reception & Clinic Support
Maninder is a third-year Kinesiology student at the University of the Fraser Valley with aspirations of becoming a physiotherapist. She is passionate about understanding the human body and helping others improve their physical well-being.
In her free time, Maninder enjoys going to the gym, reading, and watching shows and movies. These activities help her maintain a balanced lifestyle while staying motivated and relaxed.
Our Westside (Vancouver) Team
Daniela Bannwart, Westside Clinic Lead
Born and raised in Switzerland, Daniela was ready for a change when she moved to Vancouver in 1998. After learning English, she completed her Hotel Management Diploma and worked in a variety of hospitality settings. Daniela came to Westside in the Fall of 2017 and immediately felt she found home.
Daniela loves helping people and her background in Wellness, Customer Service and Hotel Management guides her in mastering the tasks at the reception with dedication, compassion and always a big smile!
Juliana Lopez Silva, Westside Clinic Lead
Juliana, a Colombian physiotherapist, graduated and relocated to Vancouver to broaden her professional horizons. She’s completing the licensure process in British Columbia to practice physiotherapy soon. Driven by her passion for enhancing the well-being of her community, Juliana possesses a holistic understanding of body movement and prioritizes mental as well as physical wellness.
Outside of her professional pursuits, Juliana enjoys traveling to discover new destinations and cherishing moments with her beloved cat & dog.
Cindy Wu, Westside Reception & Clinic Support
Cindy studies clinical neuroscience and has a special interest in chronic pain and spinal cord injury. Because her study involves working with patients who have had severe injury and/or major surgical operations, she recognizes the importance of rehabilitation and recovery.
During her spare time, she loves skating, skiing, and cycling. Cindy plays the accordion. Music is an essential part of her life, as well as oil painting.
Kyle Kirmaci, Westside Reception & Clinic Support
Kyle will be graduating this Fall with a Bachelor of Kinesiology degree from the University of British Columbia. He plans to continue his studies and pursue a career in physiotherapy.
In his free time, Kyle enjoys coaching basketball, travelling and trying out new foods from around the world.
Ivan Moody, Westside Reception & Clinic Support
Ivan is currently a kinesiology student and plans to pursue physiotherapy after completing his undergrad. He developed his passion for fitness in high school while playing basketball.
In his spare time Ivan enjoys going out with friends as well as exploring the mountains.
Michael Woldeab, Westside Clinic Support
Michael is currently in his fourth year of kinesiology at Simon Fraser University. After completing his bachelors, he plans to further his education by doing his master’s and soon after his doctorate. Michael’s passion for the field stems from his giving nature, and always wanting to help others.
Outside of work and school, Michael likes to go on hikes with his buddies, workout in the gym, and spend quality time with his family.
Ashley Leung, Westside Reception & Clinic Support
Ashley will be graduating with a degree in Kinesiology from UBC and will pursue a career in physiotherapy.
In her spare time, Ashley love's staying active doing Chinese traditional dancing.
Veronica Rodriguez, Westside Reception & Clinic Support
Veronica is a Biotechnology Engineer from Mexico with a passion for entrepreneurship. She moved to Vancouver to pursue her MBA, expand her horizons, and explore new career and business opportunities. At healthOne, she is committed to delivering exceptional customer service and creating a positive impact on the team through her work.
When not at work, Veronica enjoys discovering new places with her family and her dog, and taking in the natural beauty that Vancouver and its surroundings have to offer.
Rishika Seth, Westside Reception & Clinic Support
Rishika is currently pursuing a Bachelors of Kinesiology degree at the University of British Columbia. She hopes to pursue a career in Occupational Therapy for neurodivergent individuals. She loves to volunteer when not at work or school.
In her free time, you could either find Rishika by the beach doing yoga or in her room dancing to old Bollywood songs.
Ava Jones, Westside Reception & Clinic Support
Ava is a Kinesiology student at the University of British Columbia with a passion for health and fitness. She was previously a varsity soccer athlete and semi-professional goalkeeper. In the future, Ava is hoping to pursue a career in paediatric physiotherapy.
In her free time, Ava enjoys going to the gym, coaching little kids soccer and volunteering at BC Children’s Hospital.
Rayden Mah, Westside Reception & Clinic Support
Rayden is currently exploring future career paths. He approaches life with a modest, easy-going attitude that shapes both his interest and how he connects with others.
In his downtime, Rayden has a deep appreciation for B-cinema films and obscure rock bands from past eras, always drawn to the unconventional and overlooked. He also enjoys lifting weights and playing guitar, balancing discipline with creativity. A fan of boxing and combat sports, he's equally engaged by the intensity and strategy they bring.
Michelle Fung, Westside Reception & Clinic Support
Michelle has a background in Cognitive Systems from UBC and is currently pursuing a graduate degree in Human Computer Interaction. She’s worked across a variety of customer service roles, where she developed a strong appreciation for people-centered work, and is excited to continue learning more about the healthcare space through her role at healthOne. She’s passionate about making people’s lives better, whether that’s through thoughtful digital design or great customer care.
Outside of work, you’ll usually find Michelle trying new restaurants, staying active, and spending time with friends and family!
